Chris Horn's 1967 123GT

Chris was looking for something different to drive and he found it: A right hand drive 123GT that he imported from UK.

One the outside it looks just like any other Volvo...

...but open the right side door you will find a drivers seat.
All the GT components are present, just on the "opposite" side to a left hand drive car.

As you can see the relay bank and the battery ends up on the left side.

Thanks for sharing your car with us, Chris.

Ragge Fransson from Lidkoping Sweden owns six ! 123GT's  Here is one of them, parked next to his 1968 122S wagon

One of the most popular additions in Sweden was the back up light. This car is appropriate Hella light.

Car number 2. Obviously it needed front fenders, should look great finished.

"Evert" 123GT number 3. Coming home on a trailer, just like mine.

It is now in progress of getting that code 94 Swedish Racing Green again. Can't wait to see it.

Ragge"s friend stopped by with his 123GT

Update: Evert is now in a gloss guide cote in order the check bodylines.

After extensive block sanding and checking, the body is now good enough for the final coat.

Looks good to me...

Can't wait to see it with some chrome against that glossy paint.

This is Ragge's sixth 123GT, a steel blue metallic 1967.  It certainly has some rust but it is a historically a very interesting in this very rare color.

53 stands for test color and the 102 is the color.

Here is a restored example
