1967 Volvo 122S coupe red

My no rust ever 1967 122 Sport. Code 46 red, with black interior. What a beauty. The seven inch by fifteen Cragar SS chrome rims looked great against the red paint. The mint black interior smelled just like it left the factory.

The front license plate is from Sweden, they stopped using those in the late sixties. I found this one in my sisters barn in southern Sweden. The first character is a letter, in this case "O" stand for Västergötland Län, that is the county the car would be registered. That is also the same county the Volvo factory is located in.

Sold this car ten years ago to buy something else. You know how it goes...

My 1967 Volvo 544 Duett Panel owned in Sweden. Many were used by the Swedish telephone company or military as work horses, and most of them came with limited slip, including this one. Fun on narrow Swedish gravel roads!

Last year made, 1970 Volvo Amazon, owned in Sweden in 1979. B-20 motor, collapsible steering column, two circuit break system and padded dash knobs, e-brake warning light...No more Bakelite...It was probably safer, but not as cool. Notice the lack of drip rail trip, bumper guards and hood spear. Volvo deleted these in 1969.

760 GLE on Steroids!!! The "best" car I have ever owned. 275 HP 350 cui IROC engine, 700R4 Auto, 3:90 rear end, low restriction exhaust etc. Looked like grandpa's sedan, but smoked rubber for blocks. Hope to have time to build another one!!

The most perfect Volvo I have owned. Got tired of weaving around on bias ply tires with king pin suspension real quick.
Sold it to a collector. Everybody happy.
