1970 122 B-20 getting the 165/15 Gislaveds
Radials up to operating temperature...
Your editor, circa 1979, on
a lonely stretch of blacktop in Sweden.
(professional driver on closed course, do not attempt.
Always wear clean underwear and call your mom once in a while)
Last year made, 1970 Volvo Amazon, owned in Sweden in 1979. B-20 motor,
collapsible
steering column, two circuit break system and padded dash knobs, e-brake
warning light...No more Bakelite...It was probably safer, but not as cool. Notice the lack of
drip rail trip, bumper guards and hood spear. Volvo deleted these in 1969.

760 GLE on Steroids!!! The "best" car I have ever
owned. 275 HP 350 cui IROC engine, 700R4 Auto, 3:90 rear end, low
restriction exhaust etc. Looked like grandpa's sedan, but smoked rubber
for blocks. Hope to have time to build another one!!

1965 122S

"SWEDE P" 1962 Volvo 544 B-18
Sport.
The most perfect Volvo I have owned. Got tired of
weaving around on bias ply tires with king pin suspension real quick.
Sold it to a collector. Everybody happy.
