I could not resist a fall photo for you.

Up-date: December 2011

Since I parted out a Volvo GT I had an extra steering wheel.
It looks great in the wagon and it will probably be 10% faster as well.

Finally...after a year or more of ownership...the car now has a original OD light. The previous owner had wired the AMP
light to do the job and that may not be such a good idea. Also, it was too bright at night.
The red glow from the OD light is just right especially as it is activated with the original style stalk on the column.
...oh yeah, while piloting this Swedish treasure with that GT wheel!

Trying to be Mr. Perfection I attempted to install the OD light in the center between the lighter and fan switch but no go.
There is a reason it is slightly off to the right on original Volvo installations.
The speedometer bracket behind the dash gets in the way.

The old license plate is nice and straight but looks pretty worn and faded. Also, the frame looks a bit too modern for this car.

That's better...a vintage frame adds to the look.

Next I will probably break down and order a set of bumper guards.
